It’s best to store seeds in a paper bag or envelope to allow airflow so if there is any moisture the seeds don’t rot or grow too early! You can sow these in the Spring or late Fall.     We love cool nature discoveries in the garden! 🐛 Do you know what caterpillar this is? It’s a Ceropia moth! The largest native moth in North America! They have a wingspan of 5-7 inches. As moths, they do not have functioning mouths or digestive systems. Their sole purpose is to mate and lay eggs.     This space was in desperate need of a rain garden! This space was in desperate need of a rain garden! 🌧️🌱 The garden bed is recessed so when it rains the water will run down into the garden. The plants will soak up all the water instead of creating puddles in the lawn. This garden is 100% native plants! In the wettest corner there’s Bottlebrush Sedge, Blue Flag Iris, and Swamp Milkweed.
